LACE COOKIES
1 cup flour
1 cup coconut (or nuts)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup karo
1/2 cup margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
Preheat to 350. Mix flour with coconut. Combine karo,
sugar and margarine in sauce pan. Bring to a boil.
Remove from stove. Add flour mixture and vanilla.
Stir well. Drop by spoon on a foil covered cookie
sheet, 3 inches apart. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Cool at
least 3-4 minutes. Peel off foil. Place on absorbent
paper.
Gets limp if made on a humid day.
