The strangest thing happened today, An invisible mailman passed my way! He gave me something that wasn’t quite there, And to see invisible mail is really rare! SO… I opened this nothing real real wide, To find even more of nothing inside! The scent was so sweet, as I can recall, So sweet in fact, it was nothing at all! So, I’m writing you back with love you can bet, To say thanks for the letter I never did get! Now maybe next time you will think twice And pay close attention to this here advice! I sit in my cell, so lonely for now, But things will soon change if God will allow! I will be out there where things are much better, And I pray YOU”RE never here expecting a letter!!

Darkness and loneliness fill my cell, With pain and fear to great to yell. I wait for the mail officer to deliver to me, As I wipe away tears, that no one will see. I pray so sincere with my head raised above “Please, God, soon send me a letter of love.” I long to gaze upon pages so dear, With riches to bring my loved ones near. Words of diamonds on pages of gold; A message from heaven as their story is told, “We love you, miss you, and pray you’ll be free.” A treasure-filled envelope just for me. Please bring memories of joys I once knew. Family, friends and things I would do. The darkness and pain of my cell will prevail, As my name, again, was not called for mail.

Now I know we’re against the world. Against the world, Still you and me. Now forgotten, By the others; You’re still there, Like a mother. I want you with me, As long as we can be.
