I weave closed indigo clouds
silver lined sutures glow cold
with care and sighs
I try not to weep
though tonight icy tears
shall encase every whim
all fears grow grim
abreast howling winds
in unison up and down my spine
with seasonal needle
I tie the final knot
to those of you who reap
I'd rather that you not
