~What is wrong with people? Don't get me wrong and i don't do it every day (because when i do i tend to go those wonderful 8 hour spans where you kill that last bad guy and realize not only didn't you sleep but you're late for work). I do love video games and yes i would love to have the latest and best and all the coolest games but it's not practical for me to have all i want right now. Nor is it necessary. I fill my life with meaningless trinkets like anyone else but i would never in my life think something so important as to trample over another human being. Endanger a life for some golden fleece that will essentially become an obsolete piece of technology or a hand me down for someone who's patient enough (or busy enough) to wait .... oh say a few months out of the 90 years one may be alive.
I had started to hope we'd matured a bit from the days of beatings and killings for a pair of friggin shoes simply for having a "socially" popular brand name. The same stuff EVERYONE wants.. all the big name and expensive things that EVERYONE needs to have because EVERYONE has them... the same everyones that we trample to get the plastic little items people desire so desperately. Desire... i wonder if that little need ever gets past the gut and actually comes out like a scream as it would when one desired something truly passionate like their life's work to be heard or to release the sound of the adrenaline rush that comes when you see the need to save the life of a loved one. If you're trampling the very people that make the item you want so popular.... why do you care about what's popular... clearly you don't care about the society that put it up to such status.
~Killing ... over a gaming system... and as anyone with a bit of patience and maturity knows it only takes a few to ruin it for the many. So go ahead... there's limited amounts... run and rant and rave because heaven forbid anyone only get a few of the things they want for the holidays (and yes dears right near the big one i have a birthday that close to you i feel for you i do .... the combo gift is an ugly trick). Make sure you have everything you want inside your little homes especially the things that keep you locked away safe and snug in your house so you can happily avoid the society that you want to advance with... but not live with. And that's what we're here to do, and that's what we're actually doing right? Living..... right? One big happy race stuck on this ball together... .in karmic chaos. But really it's what we want. And how can we be happy if we don't have everything we want... right?
