Okay for any of my friends who don't know me well or haven't really read my profile.....
I had Gastric bypass surgery in Aug 2006 to lose weight for health reasons. I did pretty good, not great and lost over 100 pounds. I am much healthier and happier these days. I broke up with the guy I was with for over 6 years in March 2007 but we are still very good friends and he still lives with me. I flew down to Florida in April 2007 to meet a guy I had been talking to online and phone for over a year only to find he was a big, fat liar. No worries, I moved on and met someone else in less than a month. I started dating him and well .... lets just say things didn't work out for a number of reasons.
I met someone in October 2007 that I had been wanting to get to know for about 3 years. He is an awesome person and extremely sexy but we are just friends (with benefits) at this time. Not sure it will ever go anywhere but who knows.
Since I was not in a serious relationshiup I kept my options open for other things and started talking to someone on another site with no intention of getting close. Well you know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men.... well that goes for women too. I allowed myself to meet this person in real life and BAM! a ton of bricks fell on me. This man is like no one I have EVER met or ever will meet again.
He is the kind of man every woman should have the chance to know and have in her life. He is thoughtful, kind, sensitive but strong, masculine, gentle when needed, firm when needed, well-groomed, sexy as hell and never raises his voice. His voice and his touch are warm, soothing and comforting, yet they also excite and ingnite the flame within. He is creative with both music and words, not to mention ideas. He reads his own poetry to me, words he wrote for me and some he wrote for others before me. I have something with him I have never truly had with anyone before. It is wonderful and at the same time it is scary as hell. We are not "exclusive" but we do enjoy spending as much time as possible together rather than with others.
Oh and I have an appointment to get my very first tattoo on March 1st. I'm going with a kitten with a crooked halo. Does that sound a bit like me? LOL
