well i haven't written one of these in a while so i figured i would just give an update..
Its not secret that i am now a manager for my place of work. Well i have been flip floped between 2 different stores.. i like both stores but i feel that i am needed in one store more then the other. Especially now since one of the other managers quit without notice today.. all over something stupid really.. but thats a different story.
I was put in the older store out of the mall for reasons of watching things and keeping an eye out for problems.. and boy oh boy are there problems. When i am there things go smoother then when i am not and this has come from the owner of the store who can at any given time pull up our in store cameras and watch the goings on. She has told me that she praises me cause its like 2 different stores when i am there and when i am not there.. now after i take this class the begining of april BSM.. or basic shift management she is sending me to ASM.. or advanced shift management by the end of the summer.
I know and understand things more then some of the other managers in the store and i am able to use time and employees wisely not uselessly like i have seen others do. Some of the other managers think and feel that they are there all by theirself.. which is untrue.. they just are not using the help that they do have wisely.
These are my oppinions yes and all the store manager herself, the owner and the district manager knows what i have seen and what i have gone through... so we will see what happens now..
but anyways.. i just wanted to talk a bit about work. .
