So, I am sitting here at work, and I had a request to put on a Johnny Cash song. I picked Cocaine Blues to play...seemed to work for me. I had the chance to listen to the lyrics, and I have to say that I think Johnny cash helped with the format of rap music. At worst, he could be the Thomas Jefferson of rap music. If you get the chance to listen to the song, compare it to many of the rap lyrics of today. Drugs - "Cocaine Blues" DEE DEE DEE Alcohol - Whiskey is there (Henessee Mr. Cash?) Ho - She's There (her fault....not sure) Guns - Present and accounted for (seems to be pretty good with one) Killing - Combine "Ho" and "Gun" Jail - See also Folsom Prison If all this in one song doesn't qualify him for a Ghetto Pass, I don't know what does. To Think he was doing all this before many of todays rappers daddy's had their first wet dream.

I know I am being redundant on how the economy is. I am pretty sure everyone is feeling the pinch. I am curious how many other people are hating life. Knowing that on top of the bills that we all have, and then realizing that if you drive to work you are spending a chuink of the pay you are working for to put in your tank just to get to work. I realized this fact when I went to go out of town on a day trip a while back when I spent 100 bucks before I even started the trip. If gas supply is so bad, and things are barely getting by for the oil companies, then why are they posting record profits? And no Mr. Gas company CEO, I don't want to hear the crap about supply and demand. You have the supply, and we demand you try to live on our wages and keep your tank filled. Making millions a year it has to be pretty easy to keep your tank filled, especially since you are probably using some sort of employee discount to pass your savings on to our pocket books (which we have to pay to keep your pockebook lined well). I can't wait for the day when the hybrids use less gas, Ethanols are cheaper, and the electric car is perfected, and you become the business worlds equivalent to an 8-track player. on the good side..when our cars are broke down and we can't drive because we are still paying off our credit cards from all the gas we had to buy, and can't repair our car because we lost our job because we can't get to work to buy the gas needed....crap..this can be a viscious circle.... Thank goodness a lot more people are killing themselves working a second and third job to make you happy, you greedy asses. although I recommend you do something, because when people start dying off (be it from heart attacks, or "that guy" snapping and exercising his right to bear arms) you may start developing problems when you don't have a consumer base for your "supply and demand" excuse. Okay, enough ranting, I have to figure out how to keep gas in my car, while trying to save up for a bike. Until then.....I am off to work.
