Okay, there are quite a few things that you should know about me...

1. My name is Gizzy. That is not the name on my legal papers, but it is the name that I go by. It was given to me by my parents when I was a baby.

2. I love my family. They mean the world to me. I would do anything for my Daddy, my Mom, and my brother. Also for my newest sister, Sue! To her, Welcome to the Carnival!

3. I love music! There isn't much that I won't listen to. I do have my preferences, but will listen to anything at least once. Music tells my life story and I have a song for every occasion!

4. I'm Gothic. I wear black all the time, but it's not the only color I wear. I don't expect everyone to understand, but I do ask that you not judge me. I am the way I am for reasons that you don't know. I'm not going to judge you and I ask for the same respect!

5. I'm a Juggalette. I listen to ICP and various other artists from Pyschopathic Records. I am not asking you to listen to them, but again, don't judge me. Not all of us wear paint on our faces, but that is a sign of respect toward the artists. If you wish to know anything about the artists, just ask me and I will do my best to give you the answers!

6. I'm Wiccan. I do not expect you to be, but I do expect that you not judge me for it. I won't judge you for your religion.

7. I'm easy going. I will talk about anything. The stronger the opinion, the better.

8. I have an obsession with vampires. I love them! Some might say that I have an unnatural obsession with them.

Wicca is unrelated to Satanism. It is a group of religious traditions: some are highly structured, while most are eclectic. Many, perhaps most, Wiccans are solitary practitioners. They are, in many ways, directly opposite to Satanists:


Wiccans worship a Goddess and her consort, a God.


They do not recognize Satan or any other all-evil supernatural entity.


Their prime symbol is the exact opposite to the symbol used by Satanists. It is the upright pentagram -- a 5-pointed star with two points downward and one up. Sometimes it is enclosed by a circle to form a pentacle.


Their groups are called covens, not grottos or temples.


Their rule of behavior is called the Wiccan Rede: "An it harm none, do what thou wilt." i.e. do whatever you wish, as long as it harms no one, including yourself. Unlike Satanists, Wiccans are not allowed do dominate, manipulate, control, or harm others.


They believe that they worship neither the Christian God nor the Christian devil. They worship a Goddess and a God. Neither is at all similar to Satan. Wicca, and other forms of Neopaganism, are as different from Satanism as Hinduism is from Christianity.
