My nmae is James, single, with brown hair, brown eyes, 172 lbs, and I was born and raised in Michigan, although I don't really call it a permanent home state. I have lived in several states but I am not sure which one I like best. For now, I live where my parents last lived before their passing. I love the Tigers, Lions, Red Wings and the Pistons, though I don't watch them much because they can be a bit discouraging at times, as can other people you can ever meet.
I am a veteran of the U.S. ARMY and I enlisted for 5 years and during Desert Shield/Desert Storm, I was in Saudi Arabia for a few months, supporting other troops there. While in the U.S. ARMY, I got to travel a bit, even when I didn't want to, but I enjoyed most places I was stationed. I may never support our president fully, whoever they may be, but I DO SUPPORT OUR TROOPS and all that they have done to help keep people here at home and those abroad, safe from tyranny and abusive leaders, fighting for their human rights.
I was born under the Zodiac sign of Taurus. I don't like people who act ignorant or foolish, liars, cheats or thieves, in any form. I love ALL peoples and I respect people from all over who I will ever meet and have met. I am honest, trustworthy, loyal, loving, caring, helpful, respectful, hardworking, compassionate, passionate, friendly and a very dedicated man. I treat others as I want to be treated. I can be a great friend, though I can be a stubborn sometimes. I love passionately and any woman I have been in a relationship with, has always been loved with my whole heart, mind, soul and body. I respect women as they should be, until they take that right away. I DO NOT HIT women and I will walk away when angry before I get to that point.
I am a trusted and caring friend and will always do what I can to help those I know who are in need, until such time as that trust has been abused. That is the time that our friendship ends and I walk away for good. Life is too short to allow peolple to shit on you or use you.
Although I have been married three times, I do love being with a very loving woman and will treat her with love and kindness. I am NOT the perfect man nor will I ever be. I am just a man, not a god. I can only do so much and if what is expected of me is more than I can do, I will tell you and hope that you can accept my faults and shortcomings. If it is not acceptable, then there's the road, don't let the door hit you in the ass when leaving. I don't like materialistic women, or men, who think that a good life needs to be built on possessions and money.
I love to laugh and I love good stories/jokes. I like to play jokes at times, but I will never play a prank that will be harmful or dangerous. I love adventure movies, some drama, comedies, sci-fi and fantasy/magical, among others. I love to play golf, fishing, bowling, camping, traveling/sightseeing, watching football, golf and sometimes hockey, some board games, video games, snow skiing and surfing the net.
I am here on Fubar to have fun, pass the time, meet new people, make lots of friends and build a large fufamily. I am NOT here for someone elses drama, gossip or troublemaking. So if you are, then leave me alone and don't bother me. I don't like any of it and won't put up with it. Life is too short to have to put up with shit from any assholes, anywhere in this world. I put up with enough of it while in the military and being married.
I will give as much, or more, sometimes, than I receive from anyone. It is the best way to treat people and I don't expect the same in return. I want to make friends with anyone I can and I will support you the best way I know how. I am a very good listener and I have big shoulders for those who need to cry. I won't down someone if they don't believe the way I do or live the way I live. If I disaggree with the way someone lives, I just don't go around them that much.
