I have a story to tell
Of hopes and dreams and plans
And how one day they ended
Almost as quickly as they began.
The pain and grief I feel today
Is much more than I can take
I prayed..Please dear Lord
Can't this be a horrible mistake?
Part of me is missing
Emptiness I could never fill
I asked the Lord the question
How could this be your will?
He said " will you trust me,
For I know what has to be
You haven't really lost her
Becuase she is with me."
When I laid down on my pillow
And drifted miles and miles away
I asked him one more question
Why was I to stay?
He spoke to me so softly
As tears ran down my face
And told me not to worry
"She's in my secret place."
If I only knew
What I know today
I'd ask the God of heaven
Why does it have to be today?
Thank you heavenly Father
Though I am in pain
Because you so blessed me
