From my Shows stash: Savage Mistress LIVE!_ the day after...
Well, it happened... We came, we saw, we kicked ASS! We went on at about 10:45PM. There were a LOT of bands there, and each one was good in its own right, however, we were the FIRST one to perform in the '70s / '80s heavy metal category. We really opened their eyes! We opened our set with Quiet Riot's "Metal Health". Then went into KISS' "Love Gun". After "Love Gun", we broke into Steppenwolf's "Born to be Wild", and then went into Black Sabbath's "Children of the Grave". We never got to KISS' "God of Thunder", which was to have been our planned closer. We are very pleased to say that, after our 20-minute sonic onslaught, "Nasty Ned", who runs the stage at Orphan Annie's, has invited us back for an hour-long showcase at Orphan Annie's! A very worthwhile return, we think. We gave him one of our imprinted guitar picks as a token of our appreciation. We made a LOT of new friends last night, and had a BLAST doing it! We hope to post the pictures from the show both here AND at our website, Savage Mistress ONLINE! shortly. If you missed us last night, you missed a real treat! We're going back to Stirling, so dontcha dare miss it!

When I'm not doing anything else (is there really any time LEFT??!!), I REALLY enjoy video games. Atari 2600, ColecoVision, Nintendo, GameCube, Sega Genesis, Xbox, SNES, PSX, and PS2. I've got just about every game platform ever released- except for Xbox 360, PSP, Wii, and PS3.

I like action movies such as "Conan the Barbarian" and "Conan the Destroyer". I like war/history movies such as "Braveheart", "The Sword and the Rose", "U-571", "Das Boot", "K-19: The Widowmaker", "Memphis Belle", "The Battle of Britain", "Enemy at the Gates", "Pearl Harbor", "Tora! Tora! Tora!", "Midway!", "Anzio", "Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo", "The Longest Day", "Saving Private Ryan", "The Enemy Below", "Crimson Tide", "The Hunt for Red October", "The Blue Max", "All Quiet on the Western Front", "The Battle of the Bulge", "Patton", and "The Lost Battalion". I like comedy movies such as "Caddyshack", "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", "The Blues Brothers" (the FIRST one), and "Animal House". I like dramas such as "2001: A Space Odyssey", "Gone With the Wind", and "The Quiet Man". I LOVE OLD sci-fi, horror, and monster flicks such as "The Fog" (the FIRST one), "Halloween" (the FIRST one), "Nosferatu", "Interview with the Vampire", "Dracula" (both the ORIGINAL silent with Bela Lugosi AND "Bram Stoker's Dracula" with Gary Oldman), "Frankenstein", "The Thing" (BOTH versions!), and all the "Godzilla", "Rodan", "Mothra", "King Kong", and "Gamera" movies! Last, but certainly not least, "KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park".
