My name is Jaymes I am 37 years old and I live in the south of Ireland. I consider myself a thoughtful, intelligent, and a somewhat philosophical person, though not void of respect and politeness. Two things I hold dear, and I expect the people I befriend to adhere to. After all, it costs nothing to be nice. I'm not that tall, I'm about ,5"5.

I figure myself an easy person to get along with. I'm not arrogant or argumentative though I am quite opinionated about things I am passionate about. Though I don't enjoy arguing over silly things, I do love an intelligent conversation and/or debate. I despise racism and intolerance to anybody, be they gay, black, red, yellow or rainbow coloured, if you somehow think your skin pigment, sexual preference or social status means your better than any of the rest of us, then I pity your mediocre intellect. Just be nice ffs..

I have a good, but sometimes crude sense of humour, and can laugh at most things, but I do have a serious side hidden in here somewhere, which I am sure you will see if you choose to get to know me,

I have many passions and personal interests and I always enjoy learning new things, and from new people. I have a deep fascination with history, and anthropology, philosophy, and I love to write poetry and it's on various things, as seen in my extensive journal. You may also tell from my journal that I have a deep fascination and appreciation for Psycadelics and altered states of consciousness. It's just all too interesting and alluring to me in ways I can't explain. I don't use Psychedelics often, but I make the most of the experience when I get the opportunity.

I love the dark things in life. As I feel we learn the most from the darkest part of our lives and our history in general. I am very interested in psychopathy, psychology, criminal psychology and serial killers. I find the demented mind, a vastly intriguing place. The nature vs nurture elements which come together in a beautiful soup that forms a disturbed mind is a beautiful and terrifying orgy of nature.

I am a bit of a Podcast nerd. And subscribe to a bunch of different Podcasts that center Around things like History, General knowledge, science and True Crime. Favourite Podcasts would be Stuff you should know, Dan Carlin's Hardcore History, We'll were you in hell, and Stuff they don't want you to know.

I smoke marijuana regularly, and I feel blessed to be able to do so, but saddened by the lack of freedom to do so, as it has so many benefits to me, with my social anxiety issues, as well as it's amazing ability to inspire my writing, and creativity as well as my thirst for knowledge, and I believe it has been instrumental to my dealing with the death of my mother, which as I write this, was only 2 weeks ago and still very fresh in my mind. Anybody who thinks otherwise, or sees marijuana as some kind of terrible thing should consider putting down their beer bottle, as every drinker out there consumes the worst drug available to man, whether they like to admit it or not. Don't get me wrong, I am not against alcohol, I drink myself sometimes, but you can't judge one while gulping down the other, that's my friends is called contradiction and makes you a hypocrite. Think!

I enjoy meeting new people, but I have no time for idiots. I'm too old to be dragging my feet through a boring conversation!. I like to have my mind challenged, and I want to meet people who can do that, people who can teach me new things, and I want to be able to do the same for them. That's why we are here. An exchange of knowledge, and wisdom, is the most precious gift somebody can give. I've been in the online community in general for 16 years on a daily basis. And I have met some strange wonderful, and sometimes scary people. But I've learned a great deal of life experiences in the process, and I feel I've learned something from every strange and interesting encounter, and I hope for many more., so please say hello!

I am not a social person. I don't enjoy large crowds. You won't find me on the dance floor of the hottest club in town, I seldom even visit bars. I live a quiet life. Probably too quiet for most people my age. I enjoy solitude as it gives me time to enjoy the things that interest me. Maybe I'm selfish? I'm not sure, all I know is it doesn't get me down, I don't feel depressed, contrary to some of my poetry, I'm a generally positive happy person. Even with the lack of sex

If I meet somebody and fall in love, I'm sure it will make me a better person, but so far it has not happened. Instead, I leave behind me a trail of broken relationships and shattered hearts. I think maybe I'm the one who's broken. But forgive me if I don't run for the superglue.

I don't really subscribe to organised religion, but neither do I think were nothing but blood and bone, the belief in "something" has been around since the dawn of mankind! And has touched every civilisation, in many ways up to our own. I feel it is wrong that those who hold beliefs in our generation are deemed silly, superstitious or ignorant. The cold hard truth is nobody knows, and until we do, nobody should be criticized or chastised over their belief system. I'll never subscribe to atheism simply because I feel there is much we don't understand, and by choosing to be atheist to me, is choosing to never find out what the answers to those mysteries are.

In a lighter note, I'm also an avid gamer, and enjoy losing myself in a good video game, or spending hours building things in Minecraft, currently, I mostly play my ps4, and I am also a movie buff, and enjoy a lot of tv shows.

Everybody has their issues, and mine is Social Anxiety. I don't really like crowded places, places with too much noise, which probably plays into why I spend. Lot of time by myself,

My educational background was mostly focused on I.T, having studied hardware and software design, web development, and software testing, although my real passion is in creativity, and writing, and taken a course in fiction, non-fiction and screenplay writing. It has always been a dream of mine to write a movie, and I have an idea, but you know, procrastination
