Ok this is just a rant and rave kinda thing...I'm extremely frustrated and just wanted to get it out in writing.
Yesterday evening my little dog, Sadie, was hit by a car. In front of my house...the SOB that did it was speeding...AND did not even try to swerve to miss her. Then to top it off, the FAWKER kept on driving....nope, he didn't even STOP!! Would you consider this hit and run? I did!
Well my doggie rolled under his tires, witnessed by MY CHILDREN and two of my neighbors, then she must have been in shock and got up fast and ran. My children, friends and I searched for her for over 3 hours...after that time it was dark at I really had lost hope of finding her...I thought she probably crawled under something to die. Obviously my kids and I were devastated.
By the act of God, and the power of prayer, Sadie came running home about half hour after our search ended. My kids and I went outside once again, and called for her, and she came running home. Happy ending? ....read on...
She is a bit torn up, hips are hurt, I am headed to the vet soon, we think she may have gotten hit another time as well, but can't be sure. I will update her condition when I can.
Remember the POS that hit her? Well, ya know how he didn't stop? My son ran into him while out searching for my dog...and my son said "you ran over my dog" the man told him "your dog should have been on a leash" (grrrr) and told him "haven't you heard of a leash law" **(granted, Sadie was crossing the street and NOT on her leash, but that to me is beside the point)...my son told him "haven't you heard of speed limits?" (hehe) and then the man said "how bout I come to your house and TEACH you about the leash law!!" OMG when he told me this I was LIVID!! I take this as a threat against my son, and noone does that!
Well, I had already called the police when she first got hit, to report the she was hit and the person kept on going, and gave them the make n model, etc of the vehicle. While driving around looking for her, I happened to see this so-called "man"....turned around and followed him, yes i was PISSED!! Got the cops back on the phone, gave them the license #, and they pulled him over. Well....NO POLICE REPORT WAS FILED....WHY U ASK??? B/C I, YES ME, WAS AT FAULT B/C MY DOG WAS NOT ON A LEASH, AND IF SHE HAD BEEN ON ONE, SHE NEVER WOULD HAVE GOTTEN HIT!!!! SO I AM TO BLAME FOR THE SON OF A BITCH THAT HIT MY DOG IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE ON A SMALL NEIGHBORHOOD STREET. WHAT KIND OF JUSTICE SYSTEM DO WE HAVE WHEN NOONE IS GONNA PROTECT THE INNOCENT? WHEN THE GUILTY GET LET GO B/C OF A TECHNICALITY??
And...to top off this fucking mess of a cake...If one of my kids, or the other neighbor kids had been the ones hit, the driver could have fought it and possibly WON, Y U ASK?? B/C IF THE KIDS ARE CROSSING THE STREET OR IN THE ROAD PLAYING, THAT IS ILLEGAL....THEY ARE CONSIDERED JAYWALKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG SO NOW OUR CHILDREN, THE INNOCENT ONES, ARE AT FAULT FOR PLAYING?? NOT THE DRIVER THAT WAS SPEEDING, BUT THE INNOCENT CHILDREN PLAYING?!?!? WHAT THE FUCK KIND OF MESSED UP WORLD DO WE LIVE IN????
