Howdy folks. It's been awhile since I blogged, and its been busy busy busy on this end.
Due to another fine job of corporate thinking, our company failed to hire enough for the third year in a row, so we've been working lots of hours
530 is way to early to start a day, letme tell you. But I get home at the same time usually, and three more hours a day is definitely fattening up the paychecks nicely.
Sebastian will be graduating from 8th grade June 1st, with his party the 3rd, so that will be a busy weekend. We agreed to go to a birthday party the 2nd, so I should be hung over the 3rd. Great way to face my ex lol.
Demetrius is starting his late surge to get his grades up. I am amazed that he can do 5 weeks of D to F work, and 4 of straight A work. He has had a friend drop out, and one will be back for a 5th year, so that sort of opened his eyes. He says he doesn't want to be a "super senior".
My wife is also working 12 hour days where she works, so we've both been exhausted. around work, we've been working more on the yard, building a raised garden, and working on that. Im building an arch in the workshop, which is pretty functional, so busy busy busy.
Dem made kolachy for his school foods project,and they came out incredible. They are a slovac pastry, and mighty tasty. Recipe on request lol.
This weekend we are finally taking a break, and visiting friends up by Rockford. A pig roast on Saturday, with heavy drinking throughout the weekend. I can't wait. I'm hoping to catch a band while we're up there. They have some cool used music stores too, so who knows.
Thats us in a nutshell, I'm sure I've missed a few things, and when I remember I'll add on.
