Just been looking on the net at the the site (not the star trek thing with pointy ears lol) and it says "Spock is the online leader in personal search, helping users find and discover people. With over one hundred million people already indexed and millions added every day, Spock is building the broadest and deepest people specific search engine"
However there seems to be plenty of blogs and comments saying this site just rips details and pictures from sites like this, myspace, facebook etc to create a profile of you. There is an indication that some nasty people could set pages up on you on these sites and you could be indexed as anything they put - for example if they say your a stripper, sex offender etc it will index you and add this to your profile.
Seems as a computer just rips info and pictures anything on you or that you have put on these sites gets taken - even private pics?
Am I right to be very worried about this and maybe it could even assist criminals in identity theft or be used by vicious ex partners to make you look bad. How about set a spoof page about you boss being into bondage and such like and it adds this to other collected info on them. Sounds dangerous to me.
