As intrigue begins...
Unlocking the doors of my being
I can feel the tantalizing touch...
Of it's approach
And it is bringing life...
Into parts of my soul...
Which have laid dormant...
For longer...than I care to remember
Shining light into the darkness...
Which inspires me to rise...
From the cobwebs...that have long covered...
The parts of myself...
That I have been missing...
Since I locked them away
As mistrust was tainting me...
And transforming those parts of me...
That were drinking the poison...
Of other peoples' behavior
Which allowed me...in my perceptions...
To imprison myself...in the torment and misery...
That I've experienced...
For most of my life
And now...as the light is breaking through...
Bringing with it...the warmth...
That's growing within...
I am prepared to move...
To embrace the intrigue...
And to escape the dark...and dismal existence...
Of inner dormancy!!!
