Yesterday I noticed that the driver for my Dell Laptop wireless was not working. I contacted Dell and they helped me re-install my the wireless driver for my pc and they also resolved an IE malfunction I've been having for awhile. During that entire process web pages were slow to load wirelessly.
I then Contacted Linksys and I contacted your tech support desk yesterday by telephone and your staff assisted me with a firmware upgrade. This process was hampered by a female tech who spoke too quickly, constantly said "uh huh' even if I was not speaking and I had great difficulty doing what she asked of me. Ultimately she asked me to disconnect my broadband router as well and she said she would call me back. She never did. 40 minutes later I called back using my cellular phone and I spoke to a gentleman who assisted me with the firmware upgrade. No further actions were taken by your staff.
I contacted my ISP and informed me that my service is running as it should be and they encouraged me to do a speed test. I completed that test and it indicated that All was well, my upload and download rates were all performing as they should.
Today, I find that my pc is still extremely slow to upload web pages and there are intermittent periods where I seem to have a normal upload but its only brief then I have complications.
I have been to your self help section to see if perhaps somebody is sharing bandwidth with me but I'm not able to find that information out. I need help! I would like to enhance the encryption on the router to see if that resolves the problem, but since yesterday I no longer have the green icons on the lower right of my screen to indicate if I'm actually having good service or not.
