As I walked down the street I felt something, it was as if somebody or something had touched me on my shoulders as if to guide me in some way.
But as I quickly turned around there wasn't anybody there! But I could have sworn I felt something on my shoulder.
I kept telling myself it was nothing, but I knew in the deepest darkest part of my mind that something had touched me on my shoulder and that something...no telling good or bad was going to happen.
As I proceeded on my way, I felt something on the bottom of my feet. But, I knew it wasn't anybody and I told myself that it was only my imagination.
But, was it really?
The sky began to cloud over.
I then I heard a whisper in my ear, I don't know what it was but it told me to get down on my knees and pray. And so that is exactly what I proceeded to do.
I heard another whisper in my ear, to pray for my life because just around the corner, if I didn't watch my step death was waiting to capture me.
What did this mean?
Well, as I felt my knees reach the cold, chilly not to mention dirty cement I shut my eyes and closed my ears to the outside world and began what seemed like an hour prayer. But, in reality it was only a minute short prayer, but it was long enough.
As I opened my eyes after what seemed to be one or two minutes, I saw what must have been 50 people running around!
But, what were they all doing?
As I asked around to see what was wrong...I eventually found out there had been an earthquake.
But, when could this have happened?
All I had done was kneel down for a moment to pray for my life because death was waiting right around the corner.
THAT'S IT!!!
I was praying for my life because the earthquake could have killed me and it was right around the corner.
People started coming up to me asking what had happened and why I didn't take shelter?
My reply was...
"It was all in the Blink of an Eye!"
