Good Morning.
This idea came to me last night while watching TV and a commercial came on that struck a cord with me. This woman mentioned it while she looked at her kids and said “Oh to be young again” You know plenty of chain letter type things are sent out daily. Most ask anything from 5 to 50 questions of you on how you would answer each question and to copy and paste in a new letter. Basically to get to know your friends a little more then perhaps you already do. I think most are titled that way or in similar ways. Some I have seen are meek and mild and others may be a bit more saucy. Ok, here is my assignment world. This is your chance to get on the first rung of a chain letter. I am calling it a chain letter because this will no doubt be thrust around the world various times and may even resurface weeks, months, years if not sooner. I will do the task of putting it together. Now you may choose not to be part of it or you may choose to be part of it, makes no difference and its not going to have anyone’s name corresponding back to them. So basically whom ever sends back their responses to me will be forever in witness protection but, you will see your response and know who put that little tidbit in when this gets sent out to all your email buddies if you so choose. Now I say that two fold. I will send back everyone’s responses back to only those who choose to be part of this letter. I make it sound like it’s a tooth pulling session or giving blood it’s very harmless but should be very fun to see all of the different answers. Ok here is the test. It’s very simple can be as many words, sentences, paragraphs as you wish. But I would ask you to keep your responses somewhat to the point and basically two or three lines total. You can give more. Gosh the suspense is killing me…LOL Just kidding and trying to promote the task. We all have heard the old saying Kids will say the darndest things by Art Linkletter. Here is your chance to go back in time and be that kid. Do not reply to this email, blog, or note in this letter, begin with a new email to my email address. bell1@hotmail.com so that way I can put all years into proper form.
OK…….. here is the assignment. If you could be a kid again (child) WHO would you be, give me your AGE you would be, WHERE you would be (era, timeframe, decade…ect) and Lastly WHY you would be there. I will give an example below and no this is not who I would be, this is just for starters.
Example: I would be 6, a friend of George Washington (name not important) and in the early 1800’s
See, very painless.. to the point and very few words.. Yours can be as long as you want. Just have fun with it. See how many other people think similar time frames would be cool to be back in. Now this time travel task would be not for one day, but you would grow up in that era. Like I said have fun with it. Some may want to go back as far as BC or as close as the 70’s… gosh who would want to relive that! But, please join in and have fun, the more the merrier and hopefully I can have this done and sent out to those who participated in it by next Monday. Have fun with this, it can be as fun as you make it. Think of all the Historic times, witch hunt, Theory of Gravity, man on the moon. Cowboys and Indians.
