Once you have been tagged, you have to write a blog with 10 weird or random things, facts, or habits about yourself. At the end, you choose at least 6 people to be tagged, listing their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says, "you're it!" on their profile and ask them to read your blog. You can't tag the person who tagged you.
OK, as for me…
1. I love music so much I feel like my life is a video, like every move I make is dictated by a song. I just wish I could do “Crazy Bitch” some day.
2. I don’t take chances with stalkers, because one made things rough on me a few years ago, but, as far as my persona, this is me. The person I portray online would be the one you would know in person.
3. I know I look like a geeky scientist but I have a dark side. Vampires are the sexiest things ever. I have a huge collection of all the horror movies from the Hammer films right through The Ring. And I defend my home with a sword collection.
4. I sleep about 3 hours a night, and not very soundly. I just feel unproductive if I get more than that.
5. I never had more than 2 birdies in a round of golf until I played in an amateur tournament and had to play from the back tees. Weird. I had four birdies in that round and shot an 82, which should tell you what my game is like lol.
6. I won the ASTM Special Recognition award, which you can only win once in a life time, for a test method I developed which enabled petroleum products to be analyzed for impurities in a fraction of the time it used to take. Having trouble sleeping? Just google it – ASTM D6376 – Trace metals and sulfur by wavelength dispersive x-ray fluorescence spectroscopy.
7. I’ve done stand-up comedy at a club, been on stage in bands…but never been a stripper. I guess we all should have goals.
8. When I was 3 I accidently drank lamp oil, thinking it was water. Thank god my dad had a muscle car and made it to the hospital in 15 minutes because I was blue and not breathing. Now I have a love for old oil lamps and have several in my home. How sick is that?
9. My favorite food – cook kielbasa over an open fire for a half hour or so until it busts open, then top it with cole slaw.
10. I attended the WV state legislative session for 10 years and spoke in from of the house on environmental and industrial issues, which is why I have no respect for politicians and would never vote for any of them!
