Monday night on 77 there was a fatal car accident and 17 yr old guy lost his life. I wasn't close to him but I did know him and still felt a loss, but not only loss I felt a strong sense of gratitude. I am still breathing and I am still here on earth.
God has seen fit to keep me here when I know there are plenty of times when either I thought I wouldn't or shouldn't make it. It also made me stop and realize that every day is not guaranteed. Everyday that I wake up is a reason to give thanks and celebrate life.
I also think that it is important to tell those that you love just how much you love them. Never let that opportunity slip by you because you may not be given the chance to do it again.
So everyone that reads this remember you are loved by me and by others. Live, laugh, and love to the fullest. Don't waste time on all the nonsense that people get all wrapped up in. Some things can be so trivial and so pointless, but we still exert all of our energy moaning and groaning over these things. Then before you know it the world and some of the most amazing miracles in life have passed you by.
So today if you haven't told someone you love them or you haven't stopped to "smell the roses". Please do and count your blessings.
