Good morning/good afternoon, dear friends!
My daughter Jessica and her crew just left, driving back to Garland, Texas - hope it's not under water, lol! It was a rather turbulent visit for me. If I wasn't feeling disconnected, I was wallowing in deep sadness, wanting to cry. What a mess! I've come to the conclusion my Empathic ability is powering up a few notches. Haven't learned how to balance out the pain - lots of hurting people in this world, especially right now! May the Goddess help us all deal with the changes taking place in all of us, the changes taking place in our Mother Earth as well!
I extend a heartfelt thank you to Wiz and Becky aka Mistress of Wolves! They threw me a lifeline when I thought I was going down for the last time late yesterday afternoon. May the Goddess bless you both! Muahz!
I revel in the joyous highs of my life! I'm learning that, to maintain balance, I must deal with the darkest of lows as well! I'm still acquiring the personal tools to accomplish this feat, with the help of many friends! I pray that my pain is not leaking through to my closest of connections - and there are quite a few of you now. I hope I am holding enough within that the 4 or 5 with the strongest connection to me are not sharing that pain - if you are, please let me know, and I will try to strengthen my shields more!
Empathy - the gift with as much pain as the proverbial double-edged sword, lol! But I would not give it back for anything in this world!
Thanks to Wiz and Mistress of Wolves, I made it to belly dancing class last night! We dance at St. Elias' Greek Festival on Sunday at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Outside! Hope the heat moderates a bit, lol. We will practice again tonight and Thursday night. Ouch!!
