I Never Knew...I would win a Math competition in Grade 3 and win a 'body size' Candy Cane...
I Never Knew... when I went out for 'Recess' in Grade 4, I would have my Grade 4 teacher as my quarterback and throw me a long bomb that I would fall down, juggle the football, lose the football to my feet and then kick it back up to my hands to make a successful catch,
I Never Knew...In grade 6, I would ask a blue eyed blonde hair girl to be my first girlfriend ever,
I Never Knew...I would attain 3 Team MVP awards in Grade 11 for 3 different school team sports.
I Never Knew...that I would come back to school the next morning to give back one of those rewards, because I was on a 'Doubles Tennis' Team and thought it was unfair for my partner not to receive the award as well...
I Never Knew...that not doing the 'Right' thing...was a 'Thing' people normally did everyday of their lives
I Never Knew...that I would grow up in a world that People would do the 'Wrong' thing and never ever cared that it was not 'Right'
I Never Knew...that being disabled, having a different Religion, or being of a different race would ever blind Anyone and Everyone in doing the 'Right' thing...
As a Black Man, I never knew I would ever see a day like I saw in those 8 minutes and 46 seconds George Floyd went through..
