I did something stupid on Tuesday morning. I was walking to work and it was freezing and very windy. I decided to take a short cut. So with most of my face covered up to protect myself from the wind I walked off the sidewalk and into a neighbouring buildings parking lot. I took a few steps and fell on the icey parking lot. I landed on another large chunk of ice which bruised a few of my ribs and now I am very sore and struggling to move. I knew this wasnt safe and just because I am blind in one eye and partially blind in the other this idea should have registered as not something I should do! But I did and now am paying for it with incrediable pain. The lesson learned by me is I shoulda just stayed on the side walk in the cold for the extra ten minutes it would have taken. Now I am going to sufer for a good month if not longer until I heal.
