Now with the still night gathering spirits' power
It's time this Wizard made chants with winged words,
With love and motion made intense this hour.
Tell me Moon, pilgrim higher than cloud birds
May love, want and more love prevail at will
If whispered to the weary wind wandering
Hence meeting sister spirit with her thrill
Flowing curved lines mingling in their flowing
Who glides and glows with sweet eyes known to me?
Can love be so sweet it cannot last long?
Please smile on my love as she hears chants from me
'Love and more love with wanting can't be wrong,
Your Wizard wants all wants intensely felt;
Love, want and more love - and wickedly melt.'
1.
I sought a woman to find love you are;
The same surname, same shape, no longer you;
Now you have become my love from afar
And fill my heart daily with poems to view.
Seems that beauty which you hold in lease there,
While I'm over here wanting miracles,
Is love's way of making us increase our care
But now that you are love you can change the rules.
Our love is growing fast though in loves past
There were love spells that weakened with the years;
Soon we'll have miracles and no longer fast.
Sought a woman - love you are and your love endears.
Love overcomes distance everyone knows,
We will then be lovers - that we know shows.
2.
Think on how much pleasure there's lost tonight
Without our watching the sky together.
Would you have pleasure from poems stars incite?
Would you read by lighter light with whisper
While knowing no sweet music moves me more?
Could we share news of family and friends
Where love speaks of fond love which is earth's core?
Tell me what makes a woman's love have bends;
Teach me secrets no man knows so love's wise?
No! wiser we enjoy moment's mystery.
There's a time to think and a time for eyes,
A time to speak and a time still to be.
Our love's more than a kiss, more than a touch -
All avails this poet at death if it's such.
3.
It's time to think not of fears but love's worth
At this moment and treasure nothing else
For this we can control, these thoughts on earth
And praise the praise-worthy, wipe clean the filth.
Like moon and stars sweet love's made to cherish
And think not of beginnings and endings;
It's time to think of shining light, feel fresh.
Oh this I can control without short-comings.
If my lady thinks of me as I of her
Surely love's such that moon and stars tremble
For is not love mightier than matter? -
What force if my lady smiles, thinks my soul!
It's time to think not of fears but love's worth
At this moment and forget things of earth.
4.
There is no where else I would rather be,
My eyes are full of life; show them first views -
No poet, no sculptor sees as I see
You have no lack - true, fact is fact isn't news -
From your head to your toes men wish prove true.
Let me sculpt you my dear, fear not lust loose,
These hands for knowledge, for art handle you
And notice your beauty brings no excuse.
The lips of the poet like the sculptor's hands
Are required in poetry so may I write?
My lips are full of life; show them new lands -
No poet, no sculptor will praise with my might.
There is no where else I would rather be -
Let this poet, this sculptor work wizardry.
5.
Wave to me, wave to me your pretty hand
To wipe away the pressures of hard days.
I'm talking, I'm talking and also plan
To listen, to listen and learn your ways.
Think of me, think of me words of spirits
To appear, to comfort, to lift my soul.
Kiss me, kiss me with heart's open sweet lips,
Quick ones and longer, for my firm kiss fall.
Oh madly, madly I call through the night,
Seas of passion push upon your loved shore.
I love, I love, great love includes less light;
With the wave, passion's kiss can become more.
Love, love, love, give me bread and milk love's state -
Love's great passion not on its own is great.
6.
I dare not look too deeply in your eyes
Where sleepless visions could entrap my soul
And sweep the poet where his choice although wise
Always is known, always pleasure wins all.
Best my eyes linger on your breasts safely -
Half buried, half hidden less control have.
So dare I look deeply and not discreetly
And let what's hidden raise visions to brave?
Could I sleep there, silver head there - deep sleep?
Would thoughts turn to actions, visions be lost -
Earthly, lustful, basic, the physical creep?
Nay! storm! take away choice with pleasure's cost!
Dare not look too deeply in eyes or breasts -
When my eyes are closed, elsewhere deep thought rests.
7.
My love's competing though victory's complete
For every day's a new day one must win;
Once to fight to win her hand is like deceit
With tongue's sweetness withdrawn still, though to sin.
By knowing not this when young, love was lost
Yet beauty taught the lesson with few tries,
Rich beauty brought wisdom before sad cost,
Now daily woo my lady - poems my sighs.
Though beauty draws many, one right word wins;
One heart won once, one day at a time
And once won fully women favour sins
Of the constant sinner with his tongue fine.
Oh practiced is my tongue with words of old -
True winners not deceit makes this poet bold.
8.
What's in the heart that sonnets strive to boast
Of which I've not already sung loudly?
There's sweetness that I've missed your heart does host
That softly should be said lips smooth, lipped shyly?
Nothing would I overlook so precious,
My eyes awake would need be deep-sleep-dust slipped
And reaching with fingers numbed by callous
And even then my heart would hear love sipped;
So boasting sonnets give way to beauty's rose
Read not chest expanded but rather thin,
More gentle than with brash tongue in lust's throes
For her heart is silk, not cotton soiled by sin,
Filled with love born before the first loved beat
Spilled on my page and words love-blurr love-sweet.
9.
This is the city where girls are pretty -
None says the city as pretty as you
And by my side the city says of me
I'm lucky, I'm handsome, made more so's true.
The city loves those who live and walk here
And lovers sweet who sit and talk here more -
Shop here, eat here, kiss here and enjoy here;
Let laughter echo streets as we laugh more
Than those, with folly love not, find dreary
The city with lawns, with lights, with pleasures.
True cities are often tried, found guilty
Of hate, yet lovers the city treasures.
This is the city where pretty girls thrive -
You by my side would make death cities 'live.
10.
With smile, then touch, then kiss, I claim earth mine;
More silvered's my hair and beard's more regal
And kneel so gained shine lights your eyes so kind
Where giving, receiving, returning's all.
Run your fingers through my hair as I kneel,
Write words on my crown and rewrite earth's laws.
Trick me, toy with me, make me guess by feel
And knight me when I'm right then my sword's yours.
Then kiss my crown my love with sweet red lips -
With every petal in my hair I'll bow
In humble love more and more as earth slips.
Now show me games ne'er played before my flower?
Through love believe that fairytales are true
For you make men become kings - Yes you do!
This very very handsome guy was sad
Though many many girls chased after him
No! not because he was gay because he wasn't -
They admired his looks but ignored his brain.
The Poet said there was no need to dress down
Nor grow beard and long hair to hide under
Nor practice scowls or coarsen his language.
What was needed was to present himself
As a lover of poetry and watch
For the girl who runs away thinking wrongly
He's too good to be true and chase her.
This very very handsome guy was glad
His brain and not just his looks could catch girls
And now Byron and James Dean he rarely ran.
Takes thought to catch a thinking partner as you well know and if such a partner you are after read carefully 'Two Hearts Two Cities' about thinking-love.
