Those who know me, know that I am not big on shopping. For me, shopping means running into the store, getting what I know I need and leaving just as fast. It is not often that I bother looking around. Well, I finally got most of my x-mas shopping done and in a two day period. I was rather proud of myself so I told my brother, who had stopped by from his walk. Well, how rude of him to tease me about it!
He said, rather sarcastically "Yes, and I know how you did that, too. You bought gift certificates then you hired someone to do the rest of the shopping for you." I looked at him a little hurt that he would be sarcastic about it.
In response, I said "Well, yes, but at least I got most of it done." He told me that that was not how you do x-mas shopping. HUFF!!! How else does one do x-mas shopping? Then to make the insult worse, he teased me about how I must have someone doing the wrapping for me next. *rolls eyes* What was he thinking? I mean... of course I would have someone do the wrapping for me!!! I hate wrapping gifts! But rather sweetly, I told him that at least half the gifts don't have to be wrapped because they come in x-mas themed gift certificates.
Then the bugger told me that I am a grinch or a scrooge. OMG, how rude is that?!!? *sighs... wipes him off my x-mas list* At least most of it is done. All I have left is to buy 3 more gift certificates.
