Where has the compassion gone? Where is your humanity now?
What has happend to You?
Where is your charity for you brother or sister who walks the street
hungry and cold with no place to go?
Does your heart not feel the pain?
Not a tear shed...do you not feel shame?
Is it not your problem, that men walk Skid Row
with no place to go?
Fill your bellies, sleep in your warm beds
let not your heart be troubled.
Ignore what is going on around you.
Lie to yourself if it makes you feel better.
But ask yourself...where has your Humanity for your brothers gone?
