Anyone else here like to keep track of the bills that are passing in congress?
HR1865 just passed and it's opening the door so that people who are assaulted by other people they met on a website can sue the owners of the website.
Because of this, one of the largest websites in the world closed their personal sections so they can't be sued into oblivion over the actions of bad people.
Is Fubar next? Do you think that fu might get rid of all of the chat and social features that let people connect on a personal level so that they might not be liable? |
