FUPONY POLISHING 101:

If you want to be a top Pony Whisperer there are certain things you need: Paper/notebook, pen/pencil and a fast computer.  If you do not have a fast computer you will crash repeatedly and it is not recommended.  If you have a fast computer, you can have over 12 pages of bling, containing a pony or ponies, open at one time.  It takes weeks to build up a log of FUPONY times.  It takes somwhere between 12 to 18 hours to find 5 FUPONIES ready to polish the first day.  After about 2 weeks, you will have approxomately 25 to 35 FUPONIES to polish a day.

Given: Each person is allowed to polish up to 10 bling per bling page per day (mega polishing allows 5000 polishes per bling page).  A day is from reset, midnite California time, or fu-time, till the next reset.  All bling polishes once per 23 hour period minimum, 25 hours maximum (hypothetically), an average of once per 24 hours.  When you polish a bling, it resets to be polished again in 23 to 25 hours.  This is what is called the two hour polishing window.

LOOKING FOR A FUPONY TO POLISH:

When you find a pony in bling, Bookmark the bling page with the following:

1. How many ponies are in the bling

2. Name of the bling page

3. Where the pony or ponies are located in the bling: favorites, normal (older ponies) or SPECAIL ABILITY (newer ponies)

4. Dates the pony or ponies were received 

Example: The bookmark for my FUPONY, Glitter butt, is as follows:  

1 pony, Megan, favorite #5, feb. 20, 2012.

WHEN YOU POLISH A FUPONY, start a daily log and write down the following:

1. time polished including time zone reference

2. name of bling page

3. location of FUPONY: favorites (fav.) (write down the # location of the favorite), Normal (older ponies are located here), or SPECIAL ABILITY (newer ponies).

4. Date pony was received (listed on the polishing window of the pony).  It is important to write down the date received. Locations of FUPONIES change within  favorites and you may need to find the FUPONY in SPECIAL ABILITY BLING (newer ponies) or NORMAL (older ponies) if the owner of the FUPONY takes the pony out of favorites.

5. Points awarded

Example:  

9:45 am fu-time Megan fav #5 feb, 20, 2012 points: 138,000

This FUPONY will come up for polishing again between 8:45 am fu-time and 10:45 am fu-time the next day.  It is a 2 hour polishing window with an average polishing time of 1 hour.  Some ponies are moving forward and some are moving backward in time. Therefore, we are chasing the FUPONY.

Caution: If you polish a FUPONY within an hour after reset, before 1am fu-time,  don't forget to save at least 1 polish for that FUPONY the same day incase the FUPONY comes up for polishing before reset on the same day you polished it.  

Example:  Let's say you polish my FUPONY, Peace on Earth, at 12:30 am fu-time.  Now the next polishing window would be 11:30 pm fu-time that same day to 1:30 am the next day.  If the FUPONY comes up for polishing before midnite fu-time, you need to have at least one polish left from the same day in order to polish the pony twice in one fu-day.
