The best advice that I can give is to relax and do the things that you like to do. Try and attend art Galleries or Museums if you like that, go to church functions if you find that enjoyable, volunteer at hospitals or seniors homes if you find that interesting. Heck, if you are a party animal, continue to go to bars and clubs.
This way the people that you meet will have the same interests as you. Just relax and let it come to you, sometimes when you try too hard to find a special someone it comes off as desperation and actually hinders the search.
My answer would be the Internet, it may take a while of sorting through garbage....but it does any way you decide to meet people. People can lie to your face as well as over the computer.
