How Do You Know It's Over?
Standing before you is a person.
You used to know them, but now you do not.
Over the years they have changed.
Or maybe it was you.
You notice they have become detached.
Just going through the motions of every day.
Wishing there life was better somehow.
Feeling trapped, with no room.
You pick fights over little things.
To you they mean so much more.
Why can't they see that?
Not everyone is the same.
Feeling ashamed, for not being perfect.
Crying and no one to comfort you.
Wanting to be loved.
Even if your not special.
If things can't get better,
then I guess it is time to find someone else.
