Granted, its only til tomorrow morning, but it's still off work.
Busy weekend planned kids. Tonite, I help dig fence holes, get the boy fitted for his tux, and have guitar lessons.
Saturday I work, stop at a freinds house and bring her daughter her birthday gift, help build the fence, get the boy ready for prom, take pictures, finish with the fence, eat dinner at a friends, then go home and showere to get the soreness out.
Sunday we finish up the fence, and its my grandma's, yes , that grandma's, birthday party. She turns the big double 8's, can't miss that, even though I was just told about it a day ago, my mom forgot to tell me.
I don't know if I mentioned it before now, but Dem was invited to the prom. Mrs. Potts from the play asked him. She's a really smart, talented girl, so here's hoping it turnes into more than one date.
His tux is white pinstripe,, with a red vest. They picked it out, so we'll see. I would have preferred black pinstripe, but got outvoted. Before they went tux shopping, I told him to get what she wanted. It's her night to shine. So when he went with her mom and her, he wouldn't make a decision, told her to pick whatever she liked lol.
And just so you know, single tuxes are friggin expensive. I about shit when they told me how much. I may cry when I pay for it lol.
This week, his mom called and told me that she's insisting he get more counseling, because he told her that is what he wants. I explained that the only night she's available is Monday nights, and just til 5 the rest of the days. She then ordered me to take off work then. It didn't get any better than that lol. I'm still not sold on the whole thing, but what can you do.
Our friend got her daughter tested for Assparger Syndrome. It's a mild autism. After reading what the symptoms are, I've decided that 95% of all kids have it. Basically describes a kid in their own little world to me. That's where my previous blog came from. I hope all goes well for them.
Well, I'll let you all know how it went on Monday, If we all survived.
