Good Morning. As always February brings a little horsing around. You got it, the Kentucky Derby Fantasy Challenge. Wooohoo color me happy and call me interested. I sent out a inviter teaser email from the stables in which my league will be tallied. It’s under COLOMA NAGGS but no matter if you want to join the league or just do it for fun it’s all free online with very little knowledge needed other then to click on two or three sites for front runners, derby dozen and derby hopefuls. Bloodhorse is a must! That site gives you a lot of info. Kentucky Derby is another site that keeps one up to date on the hopefuls to win the derby and their progress along the derby preps. lastly the main site to register to play Road to the roses. All of these are naturally .com sites and besides the added bonus who bragging rights, derby prizes this year they added an extra spot called Pay to Play. For the mere sum of 10 dollars one can take a cash prize of anywhere from 10,000 to 100.00 dollars namely and mostly depending on how many pay to play entrees they have. Currently the pot is over 2000.00 but, the site just opened on Tuesday and thanks to Lori I got in last night and logged one stable. I will do another after Bonnie stops hem-hawing on what sounds good. She raised Arabians as a child and even though no Arabians run she does pick well when we seldom get to attend a live race. If truth be known she just likes to get down there close to those big races and reminisce about riding in her past. But all in all the first race (scoring race) is February 17th this Saturday and there are 4 scoring races. The commissioner’s notes always give hints and favorites every Friday so like I said you could know as little as knowing the Horses have four legs and still win. Hmmm they do have four legs… don’t they? Anyway come join the fun, I am sure you will enjoy it no matter how much you know about horse racing. Hell just ask me and I can give you a quick start stable or Jockeys and trainers in no time. Good luck and Have a wonderful Thursday.
A mouth full of oats and hay and I am on my way.
Oh, that was not a real hug was it…A huge hug and a couple of pats
