Many people believe that such things as money, possessions, good looks, intelligence, and even power are the measure of thier lives. None of these is inherently bad yet none can predict happiness or instill a lasting sense of worth. What if you were to awaken one morning to find that your wealth and power has vanished? What if your attractiveness faild and your intelligence falterd? Would hopelessnessand despair overcome you?
God places little importance on outward appearances or the size of bank accounts. He measures your life and hearts by a different standard. He teaches you that humility leads to greatness and that you achieve true succsess when you give yourselves to others. No measure other than the eternal love of God is a true measure.
God examine me and know my heart test me and know my nervouse thoughts. See if there is any bad thing in me. Lead me on the road to everlasting life.
