The restaurant chain, known for its chicken wings and burgers served by scantily clad waitresses, is gearing up to launch its own "Hooters Energy Drink" at grocery and convenience stores nationwide this spring. The drinks will come in 16-ounce cans for $1.99 each in orange and sugar-free berry flavors, the company said. Other ingredients weren't specified. The cans will feature Hooter girls who work at the company, Aleshire said.
Besides its restaurant operations, privately held Hooters of America launched Hooters MasterCard branded credit cards in 2005. The company also operates Hooters casino hotel in Las Vegas and Hooters magazine.
