To Whom It May Concern:
I really don’t know were to start so let me start by saying that this woman is one of the most amazing women I have ever met in my life. Krystal is a resident in Manitoba Canada. She is a single mother of a wonderful young boy, Jaren. He too is an amazing person in his own. He has Asperger’s Syndrome, High Functioning Autism. I got to know Krystal over the course of several months and was truly inspired by her resolve and determination. Krystal had suffered during her pregnancy and gained an excessive amount of weight. She was abused as a child, mentally, physically, sexually and emotionally. She was seperated around the time of her son’s 3rd birthday and has now been divorced for over a year and one half.
Here is where the problem lies. Krystal has lost an amazing amount of weight and is still loosing today. She has set her goals and works with determination and an effort one can only imagine to obtain these goals. With all the excessive weight loss ( 140 lbs) comes the problem with the large amount of excess skin. Some of her doctors have tried to help her but the province provided insurance will not cover the skin removal as a necessary procedure. The province provided insurance has determined it to be elective and cosmetic. This is clearly not the case.
I have had the pleasure of holding this woman close to my heart and even though we are no longer together as a couple I still hold this women with the highest regards and admiration. She would never look for a hand out or ask for anything that is not truly deserved or needed. She is a wonderful woman and a kind and caring soul. I am a better man for having her in my life.
Please let it be known that excessive weight is no longer thought of as a person who is lazy or just doesn’t care. Let it be known that when people are in need of support others wont just turn their heads. Let it be known that as long as there are Krystals in this world their friends will stand beside them to the end.
