Recently as I was staring at the monthly calendar and planning my monthly budget, I happened on this thought. Most of us have heard the story of creation from the Bible and learned that God created the Earth in six days and on the seventh day he rested. That would mean that the Sabbath (Sunday) would be the seventh day. So why is Sunday always shown as the first day of the week on calendars rather than the seventh day?
