His love guides me

Today I decided to follow the footprint of time
For many have traveled this path
I have found a similar road and followed it
Trying to find my own path in life.
The travel was hard and cold
But he lead me the way
Through rocky trains...we traveled
Through rain and snow
Through love and hate
For I was traveling their path
New to this path
That man had not face for many years
The route has been charted
And roads have been paved
Their steps never faltered
Nor courage grew dim,
Because of the faith they had in him
He lead each of us by the hand
And when we tired, and felt we
Could not go on
He would carry us with his loving words
For they trusted in God
And allow him to lead them
My faith and my trust
Remain true to him
