I'm watching an old classic episode of Star Trek (79 episodes, from 1966 - 1969). Severla of the key players have been exposed to some form of gamma ray, age-accelerating disease, which has made them age at an incredible pace. Instead of being 34 years-old now, Kirk is 72!! He's forgetful, senile, grumpy and sleepy all the time. He's found himself in a competency hearing with the senior officers, and they wish to relieve him of his command.
