Light The Night Walk is the nation's night to pay tribute and bring hope to thousands of patients battling blood cancers and to commemorate loved ones lost.
The Society funds lifesaving cancer research that has contributed to major advances in the treatment of blood cancers and many other types of cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and stem cell transplants that have prolonged and enhanced the lives of patients. New targeted therapies that kill cancer cells without harming normal tissue have already begun to provide drugs and procedures that are improving quality of life.
But more research is critically needed:
Every five minutes someone is diagnosed with blood cancer. Every ten minutes, someone dies.
Leukemia causes more deaths among children than any other cancer
More than 20,000 Americans died from lymphoma in 2006
The survival rate for myeloma is just 33 per cent

I would love to see the support from my friends to help raise enough money to find the cure for this cause. Im walking in the memory of people who have passed away or who are fighting the battle to beat this. It gives me great hope to know that im taking a step to give these people a chance at living a happy and healthy life. All im asking is that u donate a dollar? 50cents? Anything you can offer. A little bit helps its one penny closer, one dollars closer in helping others find hope and happiness to the end of a long battle, and give others who have lost wives,husbands,daugthers and sons ect, that one day they will be able to cure this. Thanks a ton from the bottom of my heart to read this bulletin, and in hopes it reaches out to people even in the FUBAR world!
