Hear the Angels Sing
We love you, Steve.
We know that you are happy now,
In choices that you have made.
Hoping that the hurt we hold inside
Will somehow begin to fade.
So much we wanted to say to you,
Like we are sorry and we love you.
Just if you could have heard those words,
Hopefully would have carried you through.
We know you made your decision.
It is one that we will never understand,
As you walk with the good Lord above,
Walking with Him hand and hand.
As we stand at your final resting place,
We want you to know one thing.
Our love for you will forever burn,
As we hear the angels sing.
