So as some of you already know I just spent the last two days in the hospital with chest pains. Yes, I am okay. My heart is very healthy and the doctors said my blood work is a very boring normal. I sprained/strained a chest muscle and have the beginings of an acid reflux disorder. I am on a stomach med for the next few weeks until I follow up with my regular doctor. I have a feeling I will be on it for life since my arthritis meds are not coated and can cause ulcers and some reflux disorders. So I am doing pretty well except for being exhausted from four hours of testing this morning. I also feel like a sticky pin cushion thanks to all the heart monitor sticky things and have a ton of blood taken every few hours. Thank you to all for your get well wishes, prayers, and for just being there. And just some advice in general if you don't feel well don't try to tough things out...go to the damn doctor! love ya, Trish ------------------------------------------------- got my prescription today. thankfully it is a generic and only cost $4. however it covers a rather wide range of g.i. problems so it looks as if they aren't really sure what is wrong. guess i will know more when i go to the doctor in two weeks.

So I went to the doctor and was told it was a muscle sprain/strain on 3/31/09
I go back to the doctor today and he decides he wants me to go to physical therapy and be evaluated. Oh yipee. I am off work indefinately. I go for my therapy torture, I mean visit this Tuesday. Then later in the week or early the following week I follow up with the doctor again. GRRRR, I hate having to run everywhere. I just want the pain to stop. Hopefully it is just muscle strain/sprain. Cuz I have no desire to see an orthapedist. ♥
