The notion that someone who rates your photo a 7 or an 8 is delivering an attack on you which you need to answer the next morning, on the dueling field, with seconds and a vigilante army preferably for backup...
rather than just saying "hrm, very good, but not perfect, not a 10 out of 10 Olympic-quality, still improvable..."...
is so ridiculous but also so widespread that it's become impossible to respond to it anymore.
