Even though my birthday is next week, I celebrated with my family today. My grandmother gave me her engagement ring tonight. I was completely in shock. We talked and she explained that she wanted me to have it so that I always have a piece of her with me always because she lives a few states away and in case she "checks out". Talk about an emotional celebration. It got me to thinking about life and love. Life is so short and time with family is never long enough. I hope that I'm able to show and express my love to all of my friends and family. I hope that when I go no one ever wonders how I felt about them. So to all of my friends, I love you and hope that life is treating you well.
