Happy Ground Hog Day, yes it is February 2, 2008 and the day the little hairy creature is prodded to come out sniff the air look around and perhaps unload last falls last meal…no idea I am not a ground hog watcher and in my end of this little round rock we call the world a ground hog is called a wood chuck! You know how much wood can a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood? Yeah we made that little ditty a classic. I say we because that brings me to the meat of today’s other topic. February is also the Oprah month. I do not mean that in a bad way, but she is part of the problem and I will divulge my synopsis on this and why the thinking process of WE & THEY have come together and why it should be WE. Not the games mind you and that Game is another topic I want to bring up on another day the Wii Game conspiracy. But for now let’s look into the We and They atmosphere that has been created. I can fall on either side of the we and they fence. However I would like to think I fall on the we side. Here are the positives of the we side. The we side is the side that doesn’t care what color you skin is, who your daddy is or was, how much money you make and more so they not the we side is now the minority. Oh yes, those thinking they are on the we side tend to fall on the they side. I will explain. Those on the they side need faith, not like faith in god, in religion in how many grains of rice are in this weeks box of rice-a-roni feeling you are jilted by the man. They are those who need to be reminded… Yes Reminded where THEY came from, see it is starting to fall into place. I will give you examples out the ying yang on the WE and The THEY side of thinking and why there will always be a THEY side because THEY continue to promote it. Two quick examples: Miss America Contest viewed by two different people one WE and one THEY, the contestants are announced and they approach the podium and say who they are and where they come from. See the THEY is out there all the time you just have to take it in as we to become a wee thinker. The WE person is just happy to be there watching enjoying the girls and their ambitions, talents and back grounds. The THEY person is upset! The THEY have their own contest!!!! Why is she allowed into ours…see, not what you think was it… The THEY Person was actually the WE person…ok I know I lost you so I will clarify if better of the national contests for Girls to compete in there used to be only one open to all gals race, creed, color, teeth or no teeth.. I am being funny but color and back ground had no basis however some thought it did and WE who now turned into THEY decided there needed to be two contests. One a Ms. Light Contest who by the way only criteria still today is that you are a girl to compete. Now the WE people Turned THEY people thought, our gals are not given a fair chance, WE need our own Contest, so the Ms. Dark Contest was brought into play…Now the same criteria does not count in this contest. The only criteria that counts is that you are to be Dark to be able to compete. So the battle lines are now drawn. Ms. Dark contestants and play in both games, but Ms. Lights are shunned and told you have your own contest, although we are allowed in yours you can’t play with ours…
Now if you can’t read between my lines and know what I am saying… you will never get it. So the Month of February the Oprah Month is in full bloom, The news papers and magazine articles are flourishing with articles on well, things THEY have done, Not WE not OUR but THEY, and I say they because WE can not say what our ancestors have done, what strides in medicine, technology and the greater outlook for mankind. If you think I am bothered by this they you are putting me in the THEY group. I am in the WE group. I am not teetering on a fence. I know my group. My group is the proud American group who knows who I am. I respect those who came from far with little to become great and succeed. Some of you will say, they Marty why are you picking on Oprah she does so much for so many. Well because Oprah like the THEY group and does not want to be out of it. Can you imagine in 10, 15, or 20 years from today… When WE are the only nation that can be called THEY. I will elaborate. If the current form of acknowledgements continue to move forward and THEY the People who work for their Race continue to ask for and get recognition and to be honored as a THEY then WE will never be ONE. Here is what you are looking at in the year 2020 I shit you not! A Miss Asian American Contest, A Miss Cubian American Contest, A MR African American Contest, A Miss Filipina American Contest. A Miss Mexican American Contest… I could go on for hours… and this is just in the needless goofy contest’s that mean a lot to those who enter and their families but honestly its’ just a title. The big push this year is to have other boundaries breached and I say breached not as a THEY but as a WE. Because WE do not care, color, skin, sex, back ground, dirt floor Pour makes not difference but to run our country WE want an honest person… So to stay on the WE side you have to understand why THEY are doing what THEY are doing. Not to rub it in our faces Not to Dishonor George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, or Teddy Roosevelt. THEY are not putting Martin Luther above but equal, but not showing WE THEY are equal but to show those who are feeling in the THEY universe that THEY deserve to be WE. See, many feel the only way to reach a THEY is to give them hope and show them they are WE, we are all one… however blatantly done it is producing good Americans. You that are still in the WE group hold steady, it will work out, just understand it is not to deface our nation but more so make everyone feel apart of it. Last example and call me what you will but I have friends of every nation and love all people I just do not like things rubbed in my face as I think others don’t either. I want the American people to understand WE need one another to survive…because fighting amongst ourselves is how a Nation will fall apart… Here are my last examples. In these fine countries tell me what an Asian, African, Cuban and a Mexican are called? England, China, Canada, Japan, France? If I left out your country don’t sue me…It was just an oversight. Give up? They are first called People and then they are called by their nationality but they are never a Pre-fix to England, China, Canada, Japan or France are they? No they are not, You never hear of A African English do you? How about a Mexican Canadian? Or perhaps a Cuban French? We are finally on the same wave length… THEY continue to fight for rights for THEY to make this patchwork nation a Patchwork mess… Do you know what I think Michael Jordan is? Easy he was born here he is an American not an African American he is an American like I am. Oprah likes to think of herself as an African American, she is just an American she was born in Mississippi. No part of Africa had any thing to do with her birth place… So lets stop the WE and THEY train, but do not get upset when a lesson is given to those who need to know they count….
Oh and this started out as a Ground hog Message, just what nationality is that Ground hog that predicts our futuristic weather anyway? Who cares…. Good Morning all and I hope I did not upset anyone it was meant not to but more to as to explain how we got to where we all are…
