I've been at my parent's house for the past week, doing everything from painting their entire house (outside), painting their fence, doing small repairs and getting their garden so that it looks like something out of a magazine.
The neighbor (about my age) came up to me today and wanted to know if I was his new neighbor, or if I was buying the house or what. I told him I was up visiting and just getting things in shape. The guy looked at me and said "Why?"
So aside from those of you who have bad/no relationship with your parents, am I a rare breed that I travel to do what I can, on my own vacation, for my parents? |
