The Shelter Staff Guidelines and Rules Effective Immediately ..... note for any postion other then enforcer u must be level 5 or higher We are looking for a few things in people that want to become part of the The Shelter Family/Staff. 1. Loyalty 2. Participation 3. Active IN lounge We want you to get to know US and vise versa and see if you feel comfortable, Like the Lounge etc...
Owners/Managemet will give intrested people In a position with us a week or two to interact with the lounge. This includes people intrested in being a greeter, promoter, DJ, or an enforcer. After that Trial period Owners/Management will get together to disscuss how your trial period went and give you Our dission after Our Disscussion.
Lounge Mods..... Not EVERYONE Will get mods. Greeters/Promoters/DJs Do NOT get Mods. So please DON'T ASK! Our Staff that HAS Mods has them for a reason. They have proven themselves to the Owners. NO ONE is to question the Owners as to why X person has Mods. Its there Dissision!
Greeters... The greeter position is one of the easier ones. All you need to do is try to welcome everyone into the lounge. Try to show people where the subscribe button is at. Try to keep the converstaion going. Try to talk to Everyone that is in the lounge, don't single just some people out. must have The Shelter in ur name
Promoters.... The promoters position is a very important one.You guys are who brings people into The Shelter Promoters need to go out Into fubar and drop the The Shelter promotional banners. Try to use the shout box Invites as well...yes there is a limit to how many shout box invites you can send out but every little bit helps! and sb bomb..make a notepad say (come hang with me and the The Shelter family click here ) with the lounge link must have The Shelter in ur

DJ.... Our Djs need to make sure they are ON TIME. IF you are going to be Late you MUST let Dj Manager or MANAGMENT in general know you can't make it so we can find a replacement. must leave off line to Owners/Managers..no offline no show 1 warning)second time will not stream for a week)third time termination When On Air the Dj MUST MIC UP.... Meaning IF your Dj'ing you need to talk on Air that is what a Dj DOES. When On Air the DJ MUST take Requests. When On Air the Dj MUST Interact In the Lounge. and must drop ur Dj bully if u hold 1 1 main and important rule if u drop air with out notice to managers/owners...(automatic termanation...if it happens( yim,phone call,fu mail,) something that way we know things r ok...
must have The Shelter in ur name If you are Staff at The Shelter or are Intrested in becoming part of our staff Please remember that you were hired for a JOB and we trust you guys to do that Job to the best of your ability. IF you are NOT doing your Job there will be consequences resulting In you lossing cam privilages, Mod Privilages etc.
Enforcers... Enforcers have a big job to do...for a hire of a Enforcer u must be at level 20 or higher and been with us for 2 weeks or more...these selected peoples will have all mod rights to delete comment,silence,ejectand bann some 1 from the lounge...they keep the peace for those who start trouble in our home.. to NOT apply for an enforcer postion if all they want is mods... must have The Shelter in name..
IF you are STAFF with MODS you are REQUIRED to participate and be ACTIVE in the Lounge. IF you are NOT active and do not let Owners/Managment Know You are subject to having your mods REMOVED for LACK of participation. IF at anytime you can not do your job for whatever reason get with the Managment and let them know what is going on. DO NOT just up and leave and not say anything to anyone. We will NOT get mad at you if you need to take a break or you had something come up in real life that NEEDS to be tended to.
Communication is KEY into Making The Shelter run smoothly so if at anytime anyone has any problems go to the Owners/Management that is what we are here for! IF there is ever a problem between STAFF members no matter what part of the staff you are DO NOT EVER handle it IN the LOUNGE. Please take it to the Shout Box or Yahoo or get with Managment! We try to run a drama free Lounge and we need everyone's help.
