Reasons To Believe 1. Percy Harvin Youth Jersey . Offensive Skill Players - Led by all-purpose back Ray Rice, the Ravens offence is no longer looked at as the weak link of the team. Speedster Torrey Smith brought a new dimension to Cam Camerons offense last season, averaging 16.8 yards per catch and scoring seven TDs. Anquan Boldin provides a security blanket for quarterback Joe Flacco and should get more room to work over the middle thanks to the signing of deep threat Jacoby Jones and the continued development of Smith. 2. Defensive Playmakers - Despite the loss of the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year, Terrell Suggs, the Ravens defence still features top-notch talent on every level. Haloti Ngata and Ray Lewis are still dominating run stoppers and Upshaw was drafted to help the pass rush. Reports from camp indicate Ed Reed is motivated to have a bounce back year after finishing 2011 with a career low three interceptions. A return to form from Reed, combined with the continued emergence of corner Lardarius Webb -- who led the team with five picks -- will be key if the Ravens are to remain among the NFLs top-five ranked defences. 3. Evolution of Flacco - Baltimores much-maligned QB did his part to put the Ravens in position to reach the Super Bowl last season and the team is hoping he can carry it over into 2012. Passing for 306 yards in the AFC Championship game did silence some critics, but it has not been enough to convince the team to give him a contract extension. Flacco is entering the final year of his deal and the Ravens may wait to make sure his late-season performance was no fluke before signing him long-term. Reasons To Doubt 1. Offensive Line - With the loss of Grubbs, and concern building over left tackle Bryant McKinnies health after he was held out of OTAs for "conditioning reasons," the Ravens line is in a state of flux. Baltimore signed 35-year-old veteran Bobbie Williams to replace Grubbs, but they are hoping second round pick Osmele can win the job out of camp. With multiple question marks on the left side, the Ravens are counting on Michael Oher and Marshal Yanda to provide stability, but Oher battled pass protection issues throughout 2011. If his struggles continue, Flacco could be in store for a long season. 2. Defensive Losses - The losses of Suggs and linebacker Jarret Johnson impact both the Ravens pass rush as well as their run defence. Baltimore will turn to fourth year pro Paul Krueger – who did record 5.5 sacks in backup duty last season – and talented rookie Upshaw to fill the void. What the pair lack in experience, they make up for in talent, but it is near impossible to improve a defence after losing what may be the NFLs best outside linebacker. 3. Defensive Coordinator - Former linebackers coach Dean Paes is the new man in charge of the defence after Chuck Pagano left the same position to become the head coach in Indianapolis. With Suggs not expected to return until late into the season, if at all, Paes will not have the luxury of sitting back and watching his star linebacker wreak havoc, while rushing just four or five. He will likely have to get creative with his blitzing schemes and bring more bodies to generate pressure, and with the Ravens playing 13 games against Pro Bowl quarterbacks, that strategy could lead to trouble. What To Expect If the Ravens can overcome the absence of Suggs, and Flacco can continue to play like he did in the AFC Championship game against New England, the Ravens will be back in the mix to contend for a Super Bowl. Playing in one of the best divisions in football, Baltimore will be tested on a weekly basis, but have the talent and leadership to get back to where they were in 2011 and potentially beyond. John Randle Jersey .J. -- A few minutes after having another strong game, Deron Williams was asked about the importance of maintaining a positive attitude during what has been a trying season. Christian Ponder Womens Jersey . The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the team has not made an official announcement. Rocket defeated the Chicoutimi Sagueneens 6-3 in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. All six P. Antoine Winfield Jersey . The 22-year-old Marussia driver had the best time of two minutes 49.354 seconds but six drivers -- including Red Bulls Mark Webber -- preferred not to go out in treacherous conditions. "The conditions have proved frustrating for everyone as there has been very little let-up in the rain," Pic said. Kyle Rudolph Jersey . -- Inbee Parks birdie on the 18th hole gave the South Korean a little breathing room with a two-shot lead on Saturday heading into the final round at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic.LONDON - Valerie GrandMaison ended Canadas lull in gold medals at the Paralympic Games. The 24-year-old from Fleurimont, Que., won the womens 200-metre individual medley in a visually impaired class in world-record time. "I was not expecting a world record," GrandMaison said. "I did not expect to go that fast. Thats the best prize, to be surprised at myself." It was GrandMaisons third medal in London after taking silver in both the 100 and 50 freestyle. It also ended a dry spell at the top of the podium for Canada as her gold was the countrys first since Tuesday. With two days of competition remaining in London, Canada had five gold, 14 silver and eight bronze medals for a total of 27. The Canadian teams stated objective is a top-eight finish in the gold-medal count. With two days of competition remaining, Canada was tied for 21st. Day 10 was a multi-medal day for Canada with a gold, three silver and a bronze. Also in the pool, Amber Thomas of Drayton Valley, Alta., claimed silver in the S11 400-metre freestyle. At the track, wheelchair sprinter Brent Lakatos of Dorval, Que., earned his third silver medal of the Games by finishing second in the 200 metres. Ottawas Jason Joseph Dunkerly and his guide Joshua Karanja were silver medallists in the mens 5,000 metres for visually impaired athletes. Virginia McLachlan of Windsor, Ont., earned bronze in the womens 100 metres in the T35 classification, which is cerebral palsy. GrandMaison was Canadas most decorated athlete at the 2008 Paralympic in Beijing with three swimming gold and a bronze. She also set two world records there. A shoulder injury last year threatened to end her career. So she was relieved to gain another gold in what she saw as her last chance to get one. GrandMaison races the 100-metre breaststroke Saturday, but feels shes a long shot for a medal there. GrandMaison eclipsed the previous world record in the 200 I.M. with a time of two minutes 27.64 seconds. "The pressure is finally off," GrandMaison said. "I have had a rough week. I have had highs and lows, but I have overcome all this. "Tonight I am going to hug my coach, tell him I love him, see my family, tell them I love them. Im going to cry on the podium." Thomas, 18, won her first Paralympic medal after finishing fourth, fifth and sixth in previous swims in London. In the 400 freestyle for visually impaired swimmers, the Canadian posted a time of 5:15.48 to finish second behind winner Daniela Schulte of Germany in 5:14.56. "When I got to the end I was absolutely drained so I dont know if I could have pushed it any harder," Thomas said. "I never felt as nervous for a race as the one tonight. Jared Allen Jersey. " Wheelchair racer Lakatos added silver to his growing collection of that colour by finishing second in the mens 200 metres. The 32-year-old was also a silver medallist in the 400 and 800 metres. Chinas Li Huzhao won the 200 in 25.61 seconds. Lakatos posted the fastest time of his life in 25.85 as runner-up. "Theres nothing to be unhappy about as its a huge PB for me," Lakatos said. "Obviously I didnt win but I gave it everything I had and the Chinese guy is just a little bit faster than me." "Its been a great Games, Ive got three medals and my first three medals, so I couldnt be happier." Dunkerly and guide Karanja led the 5,000 metres until they were caught with just over two laps to go by Chiles Cristian Valenzuela and his guide Cristopher Guajardo. The Chileans won in 15:26.26 followed by the Canadians in 15:34.07 "They hung behind us a little pit, then passed us and we tried to go with them," Dunkerly said. "Josh was telling me exactly what was going on and they were just a bit stronger than we were. We were trying to close the gap, but they had a little more than we did today. "Of course when youre leading for that long, its tough when it kind of gets taken away from you, but we had our plan and committed to it and let the chips fall where they do." Dunkerly, 35, won a pair of silver medals and a bronze at previous Paralympics in the 1,500. He and Karanja, a college steeplechase runner, teamed up a year ago. Dunkerly feels hes made a lot of progress in the 5K since that union. "This is the first year Ive actually, seriously trained for the 5K, so I think its what Im going to focus on more in the future," Dunkerley said. "Josh is an all-American in the steeplechase so training with someone like Josh, hes pushing me constantly in every workout we do. It makes you get better." McLachlans bronze in the 100 was her second after also finishing third in the 200. Just 19, McLachlan has set her sights on the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. "Im more than happy with bronze just to have another chance to stand on that podium," McLachlan said. "As soon as I get back, Im going to start training for Rio. I want a different (medal) colour at Rio. I want to hear our anthem at Rio." Elsewhere Friday, Canadas wheelchair rugby team edged Sweden 53-52 to advance to Saturdays semifinal. Canada will face defending champion U.S. with a berth in Sundays championship game on the line. The wheelchair basketball team takes on defending champion Australia for gold Saturday.   ' ' '
