To those who know me best know that my grandma was that one person on top of the hill that you could only wish I could be as strong as even the soles of her shoes. She ment the world to me and helped me get through so many hard times. I will be posting random blogs about her life as it is what is helping me cope with loosing her. Thank you for reading. Feel free to comment if you feel the need to do so. She passed away on the 6th of April 2008. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the Rocky Ford Cemetery in Rocky Ford, Colo., Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Mrs. Ewers married Billy Ewers on Nov. 4, 1950, and he died July 13, 1985. Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Yauck of Darrouzett, Billie Waters of Tulia and Martha Conklin of Coffeyville, Kan.; a son, Everett Leon Ewers of Fayetteville, Ark.; a brother, Benny Ray Red of Steep Falls, Maine; a sister, Loretta Steele of North Miami, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
