Got Goat? Good Grief and good Morning. You know, things like this I thought were only for horror books, voodoo and the macabre. Well here is the story. Apparently Nepal’s Largest Air Carrier and perhaps their only airlines sacrificed two goats to appease Akash Bhairab, the Hindu sky god, following technical problems with one of its Boeing 757 of which they have two… I wonder if the other aircraft feels cheated. No matter, unknowingly to me this kind of issue still goes on…somewhat like scenes from the wicker man. That movie gave me the creeps. So if your airplane does not fly perhaps a goat must die. So this sky god apparently likes goat. Are chickens the only thing sacrificed in Voodoo? I know they have those dolls they stick needles in and such. Owe!!! Owwwee my arm just had a sharp pain. I am like beside myself and astonished to think these types of rituals still take place. Oh well enough said on that subject I do not want to have a burning sensation and not know where it came from.
So if you have goats…oh and I know a sweet lady that raises them. But, I am sure her goats are safe and sound…but if you travel to Nepal and bring your goat? I can’t say they will be very safe if the aircrafts start falling from the sky…
Hang in there and have a wonderful day.
A huge hug and a great pat
